Robert Lewandowski shuns transfer rumours

Soccer News: Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has refused to reject rumours linking him with a future move to Real Madrid.

The Poland international has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu and has recently hit out at the German champions lack of ambition in the transfer market.

“I have no obligation to comment on every time on every bit of nonsense,” Lewandowski told Bayerischen Rundfunk after Bayern’s 4-0 win over Mainz on Saturday.

“Whether it means anything or not, the truth is I don’t have to say something about this nonsense.”

The 29-year-old’s current deal at the Allianz Arena runs until June 2021.
