Sahara Force India sets to launch 2017 entry
F1 Update: Sahara Force India became the third Formula 1 team to announce a launch date for its newest entry, which will roll out on Feb. 22.
The VJM10 will launch a day before world champion Mercedes and two days before Ferrari do the same with their 2017 machines. The two-car team will feature Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon in the cockpit this season, following the offseason departure of Nico Hülkenberg to Renault.
Force India finished last season fourth in the constructors championship, continuing its steady progression up the F1 grid in recent seasons.
A press release urged fans to get excited.
“With a new driver lineup, new regulations and a renewed hunger to build on our most successful season ever, it’s time to Feel the Force again.”
