Aaron Mooy is Huddersfield Town Player of the Month
Football Update – It is the third time that the Socceroos midfielder has claimed the award since moving to the Championship at the start of 2016-17.
The Terriers sit fourth on the table at the midway point of the campaign, with Mooy starting in all but one game and registering two goals and two assists.
“Mooy was ever present for Huddersfield Town in December and was instrumental in helping the Club win four of its six matches over the busy Christmas period,” read a statement posted on the official Huddersfield website.
The award is voted on by members of Huddersfield’s Blue and White Foundation, who selected the Australian ahead of leading striker Elias Kachunga and defender Tommy Smith.
Huddersfield Town face Port Vale in the FA Cup this weekend, while Mooy will next be in action for the Socceroos when they take on Iran and the United Arab Emirates in March.
