Nathaniel Clyne a vital asset for Liverpool
Soccer Update: Liverpool are enjoying a fine campaign in the Premier League this season but they’re still some way off Chelsea, sat five points off a Blues side who have seemed largely unstoppable this season.
There is no denying that the Reds have come a long way under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp since the German took charge at Anfield, with Liverpool looking strong in their charge to return to the Premier League.
Solid from front to back, Liverpool have a wealth of talented players at their disposal and Nathaniel Clyne has proven to be a vital asset in both defence and the attack, as this statistic shows.
Most chances created by defenders in the Premier League this season:

Kyle Walker (28)

Liverpool could do with turning those chances into goals though as Clyne has just two assists to his name from those thirty opportunities, with his last assist for the Reds coming in mid-December against Middlesbrough.
The statistics show Clyne could find the route to a breakthrough in this weekend’s crucial clash with Manchester United though, which is a good omen.
