Paul Okon prepares against Central Coast Mariners

Football News – Paul Okon has declared it is now “game on” when teams face Central Coast Mariners.

Despite sitting ninth on the table, the Mariners have proven highly competitive in the majority of their seven fixtures this season and have accumulated six points, a far cry from their return at the same stage last season.

The Mariners host Perth Glory on Thursday night, their second game against West Australian side this season.

In round one, Okon’s men recovered from a 3-0 half time deficit to take home a point in the 3-3 draw. Okon reflected on that turnaround, saying it shows the Mariners cannot be taken lightly.

“We’ve been making good progress,” Okon said.
